Firemen of the future??? December 2009

Grandad and Uncle Matt took us, Will and Jed for a ride in the fire engine. It was a great chance for us to wear our fire fighters outfits that Aunty Fi gave us for Christmas.

Boxing Day 2009 - walk to the Blue Pools, Makarora

Boxing Day saw most of the family head off for an afternoon trip up to Makarora to walk to the Blue Pools. Although it was drizzly it was still good to get outside and stretch the legs somewhere different (although for Sam it was more like making use of Grandad's stretched legs!!!)

Christmas 2009

Christmas Day 2009 was held in Luggate at Nana and Grandad's place with the Taylor / Collings / Slim / Anderson / O'Connell crews. We were very spoilt on Christmas Day, as usual. Mum and Dad gave us brand new flash-as-flash bikes, including matching coloured helmets. It won't be long before we're zooming around everywhere on them, so LOOK OUT!

After these December haircuts, Mum took us to Naish Park in Balclutha and took HEAPS of photos of us, so that we could get a surprise photo coffee mug made for Dad for Christmas.

Bobcat drivers of the future?

Here we are checking out Dad's latest toy!!! Our plan for the future is:

Sam will drive the Bobcat, Jake will do the dipping and Mum and Dad can go on holiday!!!!

Harry Potter look-a-likes - November 2009

Do we suit these wee glasses? We came out of the spare room taking turns wearing the glasses off one of the teddy bears and Mum thought we looked so cute that out came the camera yet again!

Stitches for Sam - September 2009

Look what happened to me when I pulled my bottom drawer out and tried to use it to climb up and get into my top drawer!!!! Mum heard a blood curdling scream and ran down to my bedroom to find my whole scotch chest on the ground and no sign of me (pinned underneath it). So..... a very quick trip to the doctors and three stitches later....

As you can imagine, I wasn't too keen on having the stitches in my face!!!!! The doctor told me that I was very lucky that this was my only injury. I don't think I'll try that sort of climbing expedition again.

Sledding fun - August 2009

We borrowed a couple of sleds from our good friends the Morris' and headed up to the Wairou Nordic Ski Field at Cardrona for some sledding action with Mum, Dad and Nana. We're not sure who had more fun - the adults or us!!!!

Nana, Mum and Dad also had a go at tubing down the steep slope. Check out the photo of the tube on Dad instead of Dad in the tube!!!! Cool fun for the whole family.
