In the wars

Jake - Yeah I've been in the wars a little bit over the past few months.
Back in April I fell off the seat part of a picnic table at Cromwell and gave myself a split lip which needed 3 stitches. Poor Grandad and Uncle Matt had to hold me down at the Wanaka Medical Centre so that the doctor could stitch it. Mum had to take herself well away so that she couldn't hear me screaming!!!
Then a couple of weeks ago I tripped over Dad's feet in my bedroom and fell head first into the base of my bed, giving myself a real shiner. They say things come in threes but Mum and Dad hope not!!!!

Dad's new toy

So what do you think of Dad's new toy??? Yep, its a brand new 2008 Toyota Hilux and he is absolutely chuffed with it. We are only allowed to ride in the back seat if we take our gumboots off (we'll see how long that lasts once it's a work vehicle!) Of course he NEEDED it for the Dipping business and of course it had to be BRAND NEW! We can't complain as he works really hard and Mum will make sure he works his butt off to pay for it.

.... AND OUR NEW TOY (or is it another toy for Dad???)

This cool wee motorbike came as a deal with Dad's truck. Every day we wander over to the shed and sit on the bike hoping that someone will take us for a spin. We love to go hooning up and down the drive and around the house. However it is a bit muddy at the moment and we got stuck in the mud the other day. We both laughed and laughed while Dad was trying to get us out of the mud! We thought it was hillarious. Even Mum could hear us laughing and she was inside.

Mickey Mouse

Check out the awesome Mickey Mouse cake that Mum made us for our 2nd birthday. We got very excited when we saw the cake, pointing and telling anyone who would listen "Mouse, Mouse". We do have one complaint though - only one cake this year! What's that about???? Oh well I suppose we should forgive Mum as it did take her 2 hours to ice our Mickey Mouse cake and we did love it.

WINTER is here!

Yes - it's a winter wonderland alright!

At least the snow didn't arrive on our birthday this year.
